What personal data we handle, and why

  • Event photos. Photos taken at our community events, where people may be recognisable. We publish them to share and document the association's cultural activities. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6.1 f). For children, we ask parents before publishing photos where a child is clearly the focus.
  • Emails you send us. Your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.
  • Technical server logs. Our web host, Hostinger (an EU-based company), automatically keeps short-term technical logs such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

What we do not do

  • No cookies, tracking, analytics or advertising tools.
  • No login, registration forms or user accounts.
  • No third-party services: fonts, images and scripts are all hosted on this website.
  • We never sell or share your personal data.

How long we keep data

  • Event photos stay in our online event archive until they are no longer relevant, or until you ask us to remove them.
  • Emails are deleted when the matter is handled, at the latest after 12 months.
  • Server logs are kept by Hostinger according to its own retention policy.

Want a photo removed?

If you, or your child, appear in a photo and would like it removed — for any reason — email info@shreegujaratisamaj.se. Tell us which event and photo (a screenshot is fine). We will remove it as soon as possible, no questions asked.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to request access to your data, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to our use of it or ask us to restrict it. Contact us at the address above and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY): www.imy.se.

På svenska – Integritet och bilder

Bilder från föreningens evenemang publiceras för att visa och dokumentera vår kulturella verksamhet (rättslig grund: berättigat intresse). För barn frågar vi vårdnadshavare innan vi publicerar bilder där ett barn är i fokus. Om du eller ditt barn finns med på en bild och vill att den tas bort, mejla oss, så tar vi bort den så snart som möjligt.

Mejl som du skickar till oss används bara för att svara dig och raderas senast efter 12 månader. Vårt webbhotell Hostinger (EU) sparar tekniska loggar, till exempel IP-adresser, under en kort tid av säkerhetsskäl.

Webbplatsen använder inga cookies, ingen spårning och inga tredjepartstjänster.
